Implant and device Design
Through over 9 years of clinical practice and thousands of surgeries and procedures performed, I have gained significant insight into the nuances of surgical implants and devices. I was trained by innovators and inventors at RUSH and Mayo Clinic and have been tapped to train surgeons, sales representatives, and engineers. I work with leaders in the orthopedic device industry and am an active lecturer on the implant industry circuit in addition to academic lectures and presentations.
In addition to industry-focused training, I hold 2 patents and have a complex understanding of design encompassing clinical rationale, inventory management, branding and marketing, and corporate strategy.

Medicolegal Consulting, Workers' compensation, and Independent Medical Exams (IME)
I provide medical and surgical care to patients with Workers' Compensation coverage as well as commercial and government insurance. I offer the same patient-focused, cost-effective care with the same techniques and in the same facilities for all my patients. I have been fortunate to have been recognized for my high level of service and see patients from great distances spanning 3 states who want straightforward, unbiased advice and care.
I also perform Independent Medical Examinations and do work as an expert witness for both plaintiffs and defendants. I have received extra training in Workers' Compensation, Musculoskeletal Medicine, and Independent Medical Examinations from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).
Process Improvement and development
I have led initiatives to institute and refine high-volume and high-efficiency outpatient surgery in both main hospital ORs and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs). I have lectured nationally on process improvement and patient-facing surgical practices.
Prior and current projects include:
Wide-Awake Surgery under local anesthesia
2-room OR utilization to maximize surgical efficiency
Telemedicine for doc-to-doc subspecialist consultations
Intraoperative surgeon consultation for complex challenges and troubleshooting
Surgeon mentoring and one-on-one coaching for practice development and technical growth
