Current research projects include clinical trials of new joint replacement implants and techniques for hand arthritis, ultrasound in diagnosis and treatment of compressive neuropathies, novel nerve repair techniques, simulation for surgical education, and vascularized bone grafting for nonunions, fusion, and complex reconstruction.
